How to install a new language for Presto! Page Manager 9, for example Catalan language?
Answer by
Stephen Prastman
No, it's not possible to install other languages for the application. You have the possibility to select the language when the software installs, and that's it. To install something similar to Catalan, choose Spanish from the drop down menu in the language selection window. After this procedure, the software will continue its normal installation.

In order to fix the issue, I recommend you export the files using MF Toolbox directly on your desktop and then import them in Presto! PageManager using the Folder option:

From what it seems, Presto! PageManager can import files directly only from Lotus Notes and Presto! Wrapper:

I have version Presto! PageManager 4.20.02. Is there an upgrade to work with Windows 8?
Answer by
Stephen Prastman
The answer would be No because Presto! has released version 9 which is compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows 8 (manually). You will need to upgrade to that version if you want a more user-friendly environment to work with. There is no news related to the availability of PageManager for Windows 8.
An unofficial way to install Presto in Windows 8 is through the setup package, but in order to do that, you need version 9 of the software.
I have PageManager 6 which no longer works on my new Windows 7 PC. Can I get a free upgrade? If not, what are the available solutions?

I installed Presto! PageManager 7.15.16 that came with my new printer, and it won't reboot. I have to go in the Safe Mode and remove the software in order to make my PC work again. What can I do?

From what it seems, the Presto! PageManager installation package is corrupted or infected by viruses. In order to fix the issue, I suggest you scan the package using your antivirus program or Virus Total online service. If the installer is safe, but it still damages your PC, I suggest you contact the developers and request a new one.
There is no information that it is compatible with Windows 8, but you can install it and apply the latest updates available in the Software Updates area. Make sure that you use Run As Administrator.
I don't find this soft anywhere. Can you help me please? I'm looking for Presto Page Manager Pro 6.

I have a Scanport SQ300 that uses PageManager software. I scanned and imported in PageManager about 150 images, but when I opened the program today, I could find only 8 images, mostly scanned within the last few days and 5 pictures that came with the scanner. How can I recover my lost images?

Firstly, go to Start, type kind:pics in the Search programs and files field and check if you can find the photos on your computer. If the search engine finds the files, right-click one of them and click Open file location. After that, you can import them again in PageManager. If you can't find the scanned photos, try using a utility from Software Informer database to recover them.
The program "Presto! PageManager" for Windows requires the installation of "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package x86".
